We had a visit from Mark who works for CAFOD and he came to talk to the whole school to tell us all about the Live Simply award. It is all about how we can work as a school to show that we are trying to live simply, live in solidarity with those in poverty and to live sustainably with creation.

As a school we are already doing lots of wonderful things but we are going to make a special effort to make small changes which could have a big impact on our school and the wider world.

Mark also met with our school Eco-Committee and we spoke about things we have in school such as monitors for switching off lights and the WOW travel to school award. He was really impressed and thinks we will do a fantastic job working towards the Live Simply award.
