Safeguarding

Safeguarding

Keeping children safe is our main priority in school.

All correct safeguarding procedures are followed with regard to the recruitment of staff and all staff are trained in safeguarding.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead in school is Mrs Robinson. There are three Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads: Miss Colligan, Mrs Phillipson and Mrs Dellow. The Governor responsible for safeguarding is Miss Clay.

Parents/carers and grandparents are encouraged to take an active part in the life of the school especially with reading support, attendance at trips and organising fundraising events.

All volunteers are DBS checked before they can help in school. If you wish to help in school please contact the school office for a volunteer pack.

Mrs Reynolds, our school secretary, is available for further information about DBS applications.
