Admissions

Our Admissions policy has been formally adopted by the Governing Body of St Alban’s Catholic primary School, Pelaw. The Governing Body is the Admissions Authority and is responsible for determining the school’s admissions policy.  Please read the policy carefully as this clearly outlines our selection process and oversubscription criteria.  Our Admission Policies also explain the process for in-year transfers. The Planned Admission Number (PAN) is 30.

Our Nursery and Primary School serves the Parishes of St. Alban’s, Pelaw and St. Patrick’s, Felling.

How and when to apply

Applications must be made online via the Gateshead Council’s website. Applications must be completed by the closing date set by Gateshead Council. Visits to school are welcome and encouraged. Please contact us on 0191 4693251 to arrange a visit or obtain further information. 

Nursery Admissions

We offer an exceptional nursery provision at St Alban’s Catholic Primary School. Please see leaflet below. Visits to our nursery are recommended and can be arranged by contacting us on 0191 4693251. Come and see why we are the best school in Pelaw.

Please note that, by obtaining a place in our Nursery, your child is not guaranteed a place in Reception.
