Year 5 children went on a retreat to Lindisfarne, spending 3 days together and following in the footsteps of St Aidan and St Cuthbert. The days were packed with fun and adventure – sailing on a boat from Seahouses to the Farne Islands, saying hello to seals and puffins, walking across the causeway to the island, visiting the castle and priory, finding St Cuthbert’s beads, souvenir shopping – whilst also taking time to pray and reflect.
